Getting there
Getting to the Patong cabaret
Reaching the cabaret theatre in Patong from the beach road, Kata, Karon or the airport: walking, taxis, Grab, songthaews, timing and the ride back.
Book an hour of sequins ↗Quick answer
The theatre is in Patong, the beach town on Phuket's west coast, and the meeting point on your booking opens in Google Maps. From the Patong beach road you can walk or take a short taxi ride. From Kata, Karon or elsewhere, take a taxi or book a car through Grab. Arrive a little early to collect your ticket. Transport is not included either way.
Where the theatre is
The cabaret theatre is in Patong, the west-coast beach town that serves as Phuket's main tourist resort. Patong belongs to Kathu district, in the west of the island, which borders the Andaman Sea. Your booking includes a meeting point that opens in Google Maps, and that pin is the simplest thing to show a driver. Knowing the pin before you set off saves time, and evening traffic is worth allowing for.
From the Patong beach road
If you are staying along the beach road in Patong, you can reach the theatre on foot or in a taxi within minutes. Walking is pleasant once the heat of the day has eased, and it saves waiting in traffic on the busiest evenings. Motorcycle taxis are common around Patong too, and they are quick for one person travelling light, though less comfortable in an evening outfit. Whichever you choose, give yourself enough time to collect your ticket at the theatre before the session starts.
From Kata, Karon and the rest of the island
From Kata, Karon or further away, a taxi or a car booked through Grab is the usual choice. Taxis in Phuket generally work on fixed rates, so settle the price up front, or let the app set it. Songthaews, the shared pickup-truck buses, are an economical way between towns and beaches, though they suit daytime hops better than an evening with a fixed start time. Book your return ride or know how you will find one, since the ticket leaves transport to you.
Arriving on the day you land
If the cabaret is your first evening, plan the drive from the airport with care. Phuket International Airport sits in the north-west of the island, and privately operated buses run from it to Phuket Town and the main beaches, while taxis and app cars take you straight to your hotel. A one-hour show is a gentle way to start a stay, but choose a session late enough that a delayed flight or slow check-in does not cost you the ticket. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before helps if your plans move.
Timing your evening
Each session's start time is on the booking calendar and your voucher. Arrive a little early, because you have to swap the voucher for a ticket at the theatre before you go in. Eat before the show or keep dinner for afterwards; meals are not part of admission, and Patong has a great deal of choice. If you want more of the night after the curtain, Bangla Road, Patong's best-known nightlife street, is there for it, and the beach suits a quieter walk.
Access, children and the ride home
The venue is wheelchair accessible; if you need help with seating, message the seller through GetYourGuide before your date. Child rates exist and the calendar sets them out. Late in the evening, taxis and Grab cars are the most comfortable way back for families and anyone staying outside Patong. Keep the name of your hotel written down for the driver, and allow for traffic leaving the town centre. With the ride sorted in advance, the hour itself is the easy part of the night.
